Most definitely one of the best places in the world to network, do business, and party, DJsounds looks around at the sights and sounds of ADE 2009. Here interviews feature ADE head honcho Richard Zijlma and top local jock Armin van Buuren. There are also words from the much in-demand producer/DJ Joris Voorn.

As ADE general manager Richard Zijlma outlines, the 14th episode of ADE was yet another massive, record-breaking affair, attracting thousands of industry folk to the cannel side convention by day, and to the city’s countless clubs by night.

So click on to find out more now, as Armin talks about what makes ADE special, his thoughts on the new CDJ-2000 and what he’s been up to in 2009, while Joris discusses his recent events and why he’s ADE-ing this year.

DJsounds is back with more footage from this year’s ADE, the 14th international conference and festival for EDM. This time around interviews feature Defected Records’ boss Simon Dunmore and Wave Music audiophile François K.

Meanwhile, club footage comes from two top-drawer Dutch talents. Firstly from Sander Kleinenberg’s This Is Our Night album and DVJ showcase, held at Melkweg. Then from the hot-fingered digital turntablist Laidback Luke’s explosive Stealth Live! showdown, where he used ‘n’ abused the new CDJ-2000s, at Jimmy Woo.

ADE has grown massively since it first started out in 1996, and now attracts visitors from all corners of the globe. And, sure enough, 2009’s numbers were bigger than ever, with an estimated 90,000 music heads in attendance overall, and conference delegate tickets selling out weeks before the event took place.
