Zoo Brazil & Martijn Ten Velden @ Pure Pacha, London 05.September 2009
20 August 2009

Clubbing super power Pacha is preparing to brush the rest aside once again on Saturday 5th September, as Martijn Ten Velden, Zoo Brazil, Sioux City Boys Club and I:AM are welcomed into the hallowed booth.
Beneath twitching lasers and the famous hanging cherries, next to smiling faces and wiggling hips, you can expect a twisted, minimal and electro soundtrack from Martijn Ten Velden. From Renaissance to Ministry of Sound, Paris to Dubai, the chart topping producer mixes up his own Toolroom and Defected releases with a selection of bouncy, pitch bent electro stompers from the best of the rest.
Swede Zoo Brazil has stormed into the house and electro consciousness with a slew of original productions for Get Physical, Music for Freaks and other top labels, where he combines electro’s energy with minimal’s melodies to tear dance floors apart. Let him take you on a journey from the depths of house to the highs of tech, and you won’t regret it.
Sioux City Boys Club are Michael Wilson, Luke Pepper & Arianne Schreiber and in their sets lay bare their love for catchy 80’s electro-pop, rock ‘n’ roll and house informed, guitar flecked dance music. Their diverse sounds are a perfect party soundtrack so will sit perfectly with the Pure Pacha disciples.
I: AM also take part in the party: Whether it was their floor uniting, big room house, or their equally epic 4/4 productions which earned them the right to be Mixmag Tour residents is irrelevant... they’ve been regulars at The Cross and MOS, so their skills are unquestionable. As for the Pacha terrace, suitably chic house promotion Lose Control in fact take control, and offer up some slick and funky 4/4 beats in case the intensity of the main room gets a little too much.
It’s the height of sophisticated hedonism and it offers the coolest cats and prettiest people a nocturnal adventure. Pacha’s known the world over for its excellence - the best production, the most excitable crowds and killer soundtracks - and tonight will once again splash some much needed colour over an autumnal September eve.
