Toolroom Knights 4th birthday @ Ministry of Sound 02.October 2010

On October 2nd the curtain goes up on the next instalment of the world famous Toolroom Knights parties at Ministry of Sound London, celebrating their fourth birthday and the official launch of Mark Knight’s new Toolroom Knights compilation with a line-up that promises to have even the most seasoned clubbers in the capital picking their jaws from the floor.
Having absolutely destroyed Clapham Common in the Toolroom Knights arena at South West Four Festival, the team behind the magic are back to put on an unforgettable night on what is arguably the best sound system and club space in the world!
Label head Mark Knight will be taking over The Box for the entire night, promising a breath-taking 7-hour journey through all of his favourite sounds, something not to be missed.  Talking about his upcoming set Mark said, "I’m really looking forward to playing seven hours on the birthday. This looks set to be THE highlight gig of the year for me, I can’t wait. From the early days in its infancy doing sporadic shows in the bar, to taking over the club to doing our own festival arenas, Toolroom Knights has become an unstoppable global monster! Be part of the movement and join us on the 2nd to celebrate"
If that wasn’t enough, then prepare to lay some serious kudos down with the guys behind the scenes. In a massive exclusive and something that will have London talking for months, Toolroom have secured the skills of one of the most legendary names in the history of electronic dance music – Afrika Bambaataa! One of the originators of break-beat DJing, a Hip-Hop icon and an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, many music fans would give their right arm for the chance to see this man play.
Joining Bambaataa in 103 and bringing his own unique sound to the proceedings is ninja DJ extraordinaire and king of the mash-up Jaguar Skills. Having smashed it at Glastonbury, Bestival, Global Gathering, the Radio 1 Weekend, Isle of Wight Festival and more this year, October 2nd sees him concentrate that big-arena energy into a dizzying display of manic mixing.
Extra support in 103 comes from rising stars Kim Fai, Mark Storie, Pete Griffths and George Andrews while in the Loft and the Baby Box, Gifted and Electronic Sessions dish up their merry band of talented residents! Tickets are on sale now so head on over to www.ministryofsound.com to bag yourself one!
Worried you won’t be able to make it? Fear not! Mark will be using the very latest in audio streaming kit and the ENTIRE set from The Box will be broadcasted live across the internet (lasers, strobes and 1500 other clubbers not included).
