MN2S started their 2009 residency at matter with what can only be described as a complete road block!  With national radio coverage and hotly tipped in London’s press the party sold out in advance, making it the biggest event MN2S have ever staged in London. For their 2nd party at matter MN2S celebrate 14 years in the business and for this special event / birthday party they have programmed an exceptional line, bringing together the best talent from both sides of the pond!  MN2S are pleased to welcome such special guests for their 14th birthday party.
Headlining the main room and making his debut at matter is legendary US producer and DJ, David Morales.   Morales is a true vanguard in the world of dance music, and as a producer, he’s enjoyed multiple Grammy nominations including a win in 1998 for Remixer of the Year.   Morales has worked diligently in the studio as a producer for over 20 years as well as being one of the most steady working and charismatic DJ’s on the planet.  As well as his studio credits Morales also owns the long running production company Def Mix  so for his appearance at matter he’ll be spinning only the finest of today’s house music.  In addition to Morales, Todd Terry joins the main room line up.  As one of the pioneering American house producers he helped define New York's house scene during the 1980s and has gone on to release a constant stream of underground house anthems. Terry's productions are influenced by the sounds of classic disco, the more introspective Chicago sound pioneered earlier in his career plus plenty of hip-hop attitude which he’ll be firing into his main room set!  In support are the MN2S label artist Danism.  With the promos of their new single ‘Strip For Me’ gaining support from the likes of Sandy Rivera & Laurent Garnier expect their distinctive house sounds and exclusive remixes.
matter’s second room has been programmed with a deeper sound in mind with three stellar DJs and producers.  First up is self proclaimed vinyl junkie, DJ, producer, remixer and compiler Danny Krivit.  Already an established DJ in the late 70’s and early 80’s Krivit was often seen spinning at infamous US venues like Shelter, Twilo, The Warehouse, & The Loft.  With demand for his DJing & editing work reaching new heights he travels worldwide from North & South America to Europe and for the next MN2S party, matter in London. After Negro’s main room appearance in January, Joey returns to the MN2S party so you can expect an eclectic set of the finest house and disco music around.  Alix Alvarez joins the 3rd room line up.  No stranger to all things deep he started his career by working at the MAW studios and with Mr. V. he set up the now internationally recognized record label, SOLE Channel Music.  In support are U.K. based The Layabouts who have recently signed an exclusive single deal with MN2S, and who make up what is the hottest US and UK line up to hit matter!
