Exclusive unreleased remix from Spanish guys Botz & Flydrums & Dani Villa (Cr2 records, Stealth, Vendetta). DOWNLOAD HEREEvery sort of music is defined by one or two remarkable features. When it comes to house, there’s no doubt these features come in the shape of warmth and the might of percussion. And if there’s someone who has so proven, that’s Botz & Flydrums. For nine years, they have been delighting dancefloors all over the world with quality sounds for the ears of those who know how to listen, with that warmth made clear thanks to the respect and love for music of Botz, accompanied by the incomparable sounds of Flydrums’ masterly percussion. Their career together began almost by chance, when Botz, who had been a solo dj for more than a decade, decided to abandon the heterogeneous range of music he usually had on his shows to devote himself to electronic music. To this end, he decided he needed a percussionist. No one better than Flydrums, professional musician and master of all styles, to take up the challenge and be up to it. From there on, they have been conquering dancefloors nonstop in Spain and abroad. Following the encounter with Roger, their technician to be for the following seven years, they attended the presentation of Maxima FM in Valencia, where, thanks to dj Chus they could not only close the contract for a first album, brought out by Stereo, but also got to cross the Pond for the first Miami Winter Music Conference edition, a festival they were to act at every year after that. Their careeer took off dramatically after been invited to perform in Singapur, and the Botz & Flydrums name began to be a reference at the most famous venues in Spain and abroad, in countries such as Russia or Colombia, where they have been many times, acting for as many as 50.000 people. But their presence dilates further than the mere turntable and dj booth. Following Celtic Rain, 2005, another track was brought out, 4 Elements, also produced by Julian Poker, and, five years ago, with Pablo Méndez, they ventured in the creation of the Nglobe concept, a party planning spawn would grow up to become, in 2006, the many-sided business it currently is. Nglobe has Nglobe Playa Club and has more recently opened Nglobe Sundays, both venues at which they reside and which welcome more than 2.000 nglobe-addicts every weekend. Nglobe Management, the home of Loca FM, was then added to their activities, as the means to represent themselves and bring us great artists from all over the world. Having the clubs already rolling, many chances came up, they begins to work with Dani Villa, their current producer and third part of the BFD a.k.a., with whom they edited Reise, brought out by Mansion Records, label created by the prestigious Spanish producer David Tord. Also under the BFD name Sounds of my head was brought out, by Darío Núñez’s Essential House label, who added his own remix to the track. But Botz & Flydrums haven’t quitted growing, what for? They have just signed with CR2 a remix for Dj Wady-hulk. Artists like Fedde Le Grand, Kurd Maverick or Steve Angello have released tracks in this label. Then, we are looking forward to hear Dexter as BFD and Ta bueno ya as Dani Villa Vs. Botz & Flydrums. They’ve made half the world dance. There’s another half waiting and, if it knows how to listen, will have a hard time not to become, too, a nglobe-addict.
