1. What is your first memory to music?
My father was a DJ as well, so there were always a lot of records in our house. I remember sitting in front of the record collection, picking my favourite records and playing them on the turntable. I must have been 4 or 5 years old.

2. What is your favorite piece of equipment you use in the studio or DJing and why?
I love my Sony headphones. They are perfect for me. Pioneer also sent me their new headphone for testing, I like them too. But the Sony ones are really my favourite. There were some gigs that my headphones got lost or broke during a gig or travel. Then I had to play with some different headphones, it was only half the fun.

5. What music outside the electronic spectrum, do you listen to?
I'm a music lover. I love all kinds of music. From Jazz to old R&B and Soul to Rock. I must say though that I like the music of the '60s and '70s the best.

6. Do you think (dance) music is able to lie?
In terms of the content: yes. In terms of the rhythm: No. A good dance track is the perfect combination of beats and groove. It's good if it makes you move.

7. What is the last book you have read and what did you think of it?
I'm reading a book about the Brazilian economy. My wife is Brazilian and I want to learn more about the country and society she is from.

8. Are all your friends involved in (dance) music?
In one way or another - yes. My best friend owns a night club and a bar, another one is also DJ and producer. My wife is travelling with me and takes care of some of my bookings.

9. What would you do with a million ping pong balls?
I would sponsor the German Ping Pong team. Every ball would have the “TocaTiger Head” printed on! Lol!

10. What can we expect of you in the near future?
My album “TOCA 128.0 FM” has just been released. I'm working on some more remixes and my label Toca45 Recordings started a few months ago and it's going really great. I will do some remixes for the label as well.
