We can now reveal that The Top 100 DJs Award Winners Party powered by Trackitdown.net will take place at Ministry Of Sound on Wednesday 26th October. An award-winning line-up includes Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Alesso, Mat Zo and a special guest to be announced. Baby Box is hosted by Koolwaters, featuring sets from Boy George and Marc Vedo. The VIP room is in association with Point Blank Music School and features sets from Paul Woolford and Midland. Held annually as a charity event, this year’s beneficiary is Don’t Lose the Music, a campaign from RNID. A £10 donation will be taken at the door. With dance music enjoying its greatest ever international boom, the early signs are that 2011 is set to be the biggest year yet for the Top 100 DJs Poll. In the first week of voting over 130,000 votes were cast – breaking the previous year’s record by over 30,000 votes. Record numbers have also been signing up to Trackitdown’s TID Pro service (full details below). With just under half a million votes cast in 2010 from across 167+ countries, the Top 100 DJs Poll is the planet’s largest music poll and reinforces dance music’s position as a truly global culture, populated by a new breed of electronic music star.
