DJ Dan Presents Future Retro EP "Evolution 1"

We're very excited to introduce to you the first double A sided single from "DJ Dan Presents Future Retro" entitled Evolution 1. The first track,"Drop Hits," Dan created with his good friend and internationally renowned DJ/ producer Hatiras. "Drop Hits" fuses Hip Hop vocal hooks with elements of Electro House and Techno bringing something fresh to the table musically. By the time the song was finished, they both knew they had something special and was a unique representation of their two sounds coming together.

The second track from the EP is a cover of the classic house anthem "Can You Feel It?" Originally produced by Mr. Fingers (aka Larry Heard) in 1987, "Can You Feel It" was the ultimate testament to House Music, with Jack boldly declaring "let there be house!". Dan decided to give the track a modern twist with a heavier banging electro vibe for the new generation of House Music lovers, while keeping the deep groovy essence of the original in tact.
In addition to his own projects, Dan has done remixes for such artists as Depeche Mode, The Pussycat Dolls, A Tribe Called Quest, and many more. Most recently, Dan was asked to remix Lady Gaga’s latest hit single “Paparazzi,” out now on Interscope (check out the remixed track/video below).  Dan has also just completed a remix for Janet Jackson’s newest single “Make Me,” which will be available soon.
