"well... for those who were wondering why i played most of my set nearly in tears and my hand in an ice bucket all night, allow me to explain! lol.
you know those huge industrial fans with the metal blades of death at the side of the booth? i thought it a novel idea to reach over and tilt one towards me so i could get a bit more of a breeze... so what does Joel do? fuckin idiot he is, he reaches around the back of the fan and nearly gets all 4 of his fingers on his right hand taken clean off by those blades...
i swear as soon as i heard the "BZZZZZT" i knew for sure i was done for. i thought it had taken my frggen fingers off.... so after a bit of writhing in the most pain ive been in for a while, Paul brought me up an ice bucket, which i ended up nrsing my hand in for the most part of the set... LOL.
I'd post a couple of photos up for comedys sake... but this is just plain gross. my stupid finger is now a lovely shade of purple and black and yeah, still hurts like a mofo.
