After collaborating on A CROSS THE UNIVERSE and STRESS, JUSTICE and ROMAIN GAVRAS have come together again, for the new "all Adidas Global Brand Campaign".
Adidas initially contacted Romain Gavras to direct their new campaign, which is the biggest campaign in the brand's history. Gavras was then inspired to ask Justice for some of their new material for the soundtrack of his film. After spending time with them in the studio, and after hearing extracts from their forthcoming album, he chose to use a few extracts of the track called "CIVILIZATION"
Four years after the release of their first album, "CIVILIZATION" marks the return of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Following the launch of the ADIDAS campaign, "CIVILIZATION" the signature tune of the campaign, will be released digitally worldwide on the 4th April 2011.
The duo's second album will be released later in 2011.
Justice were the most exciting thing to happen to pop music in our time. The hit single "D.A.N.C.E" (2007) has shifted over a million singles, while their first album, entitled Cross, is already considered as a classic, with 800,000 units sold. Between 2007 and 2009 the group undertook two worldwide tours, during which more than a million people danced beneath their glowing cross. The tour was subsequently committed to celluloid in the live documentary DVD "A CROSS THE UNIVERSE".
Astoundingly, Augé and de Rosnay have also received two MTV Awards for Best Video for "We are Your Friends" and "D.A.N.C.E", and one Grammy for Best Remix for MGMT.
