Cr2 are back with the third in their series of LIVE & DIRECT compilations for Miami, following with the solid format of 3 mix CDs; CD 1: Day, CD 2: Night CD 3: Classics, which has served well for its predecessors. Cr2 have certainly cemented the Miami brand name over the past 3 years, alongside the likes of Azuli, Defected and Ministry of Sound, by focusing on quality upfront house music. With the Winter Music Conference celebrating it’s 25th anniversary in full swing we’ve fittingly put together a selection of 44 tracks showcasing new talents and hot selections for the spring, and a teaser into some of this summer’s big Ibiza tracks.
Including tracks from heavyweights such as Cirez D with the massive hit ‘Glow’, Chuckie, Sydney Samson, Paul Harris vs Eurythmics and Norman Doray as well as featuring up and coming artists who are set to be huge over the next 12 months, for example Jacob Plant and Hugo Van Dyck; this album once again displays the various aspects of dance that Cr2 have to offer!

Cr2 LIVE & DIRECT return to the annual Winter Music Conference in Miami this year with a bang! Hosting their stellar line up at Hotel W’s super-exclusive club Wall, Cr2’s party will be at the top of all the attendee’s lists.
Heading up the bill is Dutch superstar Chuckie who has also recently received huge success in the UK with the Top Ten hit ‘Let the bass kick in Miami girl’ with LMFAO. Following on from what was arguably the biggest year in Chuckie’s career 2010 has already been non-stop. With a tour in America about to commence and having just signed to Atlantic Records with an album in the pipeline, Chuckie’s name is already on the lips of music fans worldwide.
Alongside the main man are MYNC who returned after a short break to remix the official Space Ibiza album last summer. Their single ‘Boogers’ produced with Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero & Jose Nunez received success in the Beatport charts, all 3 will be present on the night to display their skills as well as promoting their new LIVE & DIRECT CD compilation, which is out on Cr2 on the 22nd of Feb. MYNC have also just been announced as the new residents for Gatecrasher in Birmingham, which was recently voted the best club in the UK by Mixmag readers. With a new slant on their traditional house sound, expect exciting things from this musical outfit.
Next up, the pair from France Arno Cost and Norman Doray will be crossing the shores to join the party. Showcasing their big room house sound, which has been championed by Laidback Luke, Pete Tong and David Guetta to name a few, these two will certainly get you on your feet if you weren’t already!
Bringing the underground element, Spanish producers Uner and Coyu will also be present. Both have been flying up the Beatport house charts over the past 12 months after a string of cool cuts. ‘
DJ Wady from Colombia is providing the drum infused rhythms and keeping up momentum with his South American party vibes! Wady enjoyed success during 2009 with his remix of ‘Needin U’ by The Face vs Mark Brown & Adam Shaw as well as 2008’s monster club hit ‘Hulk’ - 2010 will no doubt see further development- certainly one to watch from the Cr2 family!
Lastly but by no means least Australian house music legend and Ministry of Sound DJ Goodwill will be joining the rest of the boys to finish up what looks to be one hell of a party.
