As a precursor to a brand new collaborations project later this year, D.Ramirez delivers a superb solo single in Nitr8, backed with a remix from the always on-point Paul Woolford.

The release features two original cuts from D.Ramirez, Nitr8 and Devi8or, which are prime examples of the powerful, muscular sound the British producer extraordinaire has made his trademark in recent years.
Nitr8is a complex structure of rhythmic sounds brought together with a super tight arrangement which shuffles along urgently in true Ramirez style. Every sound is tweaked to perfection which provides one hell of a rich listen but its the undoubtedly floor bothering arrangement which will cause real damage. Throw in a decidedly heady breakdown and you have yet another Ramirez bomb.
The wonderful Paul Woolford tackles Nitr8 and serves up something more than deserving of the title raw. Low slung, lean and with a nagging hook line fused with the originals vocal shots, Woolfords version is a tight yet punchy take which takes no prisoners.
Devi8or is the last out of the traps but is certainly no slouch. Much like its a-side companion its rhythmic and punchy but here Ramirez releases some serious latin drum vibes alongside his searing synth lines, cavernous drops and oddball vox. A fitting finale to an out-and-out dancefloor beast of a release, we think youll agree.
Nitr8 again shows why D.Ramirez is not to be ignored and gives further insight into why artists as disparate as Matt Tolfrey and Underworld are clamouring to work with him.
