![Steve Mac & Paul Harris - Dizzy Heights (incl. Nic Fanciulli Remix) [sMACk] Steve Mac & Paul Harris - Dizzy Heights (incl. Nic Fanciulli Remix) [sMACk]](http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r183/pricenatalie/smack-002CTB.jpg) sMACk is a new record label from Steve Mac, created as an outlet for his own productions and collaborations with top producers within house and techno. The first batch of releases will see Steve deliver his own brand of cutting edge music and partner up with Paul Harris, Danny Rampling and Cevin Fisher. Remixes will come from Paul Woolford, Nic Fanciulli and Matt Nordstrom Since his first foray into house music back in 1990, Steve Mac has carved out an enviable career for himself within the very top tier of the DJ’s and producers. From his work as The Rhythm Masters through to more recent success with Cr2, Toolroom, Saved Records and Sci+Tec, Steve has proved himself to be one of the very best; reinventing his sound while remaining at the forefront of the scene. Joining Steve on sMACk’s sophomore release is Paul Harris; a producer whose discography reads like a music producer’s wet dream. Having achieved an equal measure of success at an underground and commercial level, Paul is as at home writing underground club grooves as he is penning hits for Kylie or Madonna. There are few who can lay claim to having as profound an impact on dance music in the last decade. Dizzy Heights is a peak-time bomb built with the premeditated intention of tipping an already pumped up dancefloor over the edge. Looping classic sounding techno stabs in to a firing bassline and adding washes of tripped-out acid to give an old-school rave feel; the raw energy of this beast of a track is enforced by a barrage of hammering beats. Nic Fanciulli steps up with the remix, taking things in a more underground direction; trading in the 4am thump of the original for grooved-out tech house swing. Full of punch and with bags of dancefloor wiggle the head-nod inducing rhythms spit out at you while waves of mesmerizing phaser noises weave in and out to deepen the hypnotic effects.
