http://serato.com/pressingsSerato pressed more of their control discs than any other 12" in the past 14 years. And now, following the success of their limited-edition vinyl, Serato are launching their own label. Serato Pressings will release music on vinyl, but with the time-code signal on Side B to control ScratchLive. In today’s world it’s becoming harder and harder for record labels to justify pressing vinyl. Rising oil costs are affecting both production prices and distribution. We at Serato love vinyl, and many of us were vinyl junkies well before we worked here. Serato produce a large number of records and we realised we have an opportunity to get music released on the format we love, by pressing it on the same record as our Control Tone. As the idea of Serato Pressings developed we shared it with some of our DJ friends that make records. We look forward to bringing you a wide range of records with many styles of music from around the world. ![]() |
