![]() Axwell and his Axtone imprint have stamped an indelible mark on the blueprint of modern dance music. Their combined output can be found within every DJ’s record bag and clubber’s music collection, and their collective influence has helped shape club culture’s current renaissance. Axwell presents Axtone Volume One, quite obviously the label’s first compilation, is also Axwell’s first mix album since his acclaimed Sessions and Clubber’s Guide outings for Ministry of Sound. Recently signed to Sony’s Deconstruction imprint, this ever intriguing third of the all-conquering Swedish House Mafia has unarguably become one of the world’s most respected dance icons. Beatport Download![]() Bearing all the hallmarks of a label destined for classic status, Axtone’s quality threshold is notoriously high – indicative of a discography that has never sacrificed its reputation for a prolific release schedule (much like it’s creator and chief A&R). As a stable of like-minded artists it’s curiously old-fashioned, in a world of disparate producers, Axtone represents a premier league of like-minded production talent.
Since 2005, Axtone has been the birthplace for each of Axwell’s own anthems, including ‘I Found U’, ‘Watch The Sunrise’, ‘Feel The Vibe’, and more, plus a raft of individual and joint crossover hits from Ingrosso, Dirty South, TV Rock, and Bob Sinclar - not forgetting, ‘Leave The World Behind’, last summer’s dream-team collaboration between Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Laidback Luke. Mixed with typical aplomb by the label boss, Volume One brings together all of the above label highlights, plus more recent anthems (including Prok & Fitch’s ‘Walk With Me’ and Abel Ramos & Miss Melody’s Rotterdam City Of Love’) and two exclusives (Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime’ and David Tort’s ‘Something ‘bout You’).Axwell's Axtone imprint has been around for quite a while and there have been some massive house releases along the way. Axwell gathered all these released and put it on Axtone's first compilation album. or Share Tracklist: 1. TV Rock ft Rudy 'In the Air' (Axwell Remix) |
