POKER FLAT RECORDINGS, SPIELBANK BERLIN AND WEEKEND PRESENT THE OFFICIAL „10 YEARS OF POKER FLAT“ POKER TOURNAMENT!
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Steve Bug‘s Label Poker Flat Recordings, and in cooperation with SPIELBANK BERLIN (casino) and the Weekend-Club Berlin we proudly present a special one-off event! The first official Poker Flat Poker Tournament will be held on 28th August 2009 from 16:00 at the Spielbank Berlin! Starting from 23:00 the „Player‘s Night“ takes place at the Weekend Club with Poker Flat DJs Phonique, Vincenzo, Clé and Mike Vamp.
In spring 2009 the anniversary box-set was released and included the uniquely designed Poker Flat Poker deck alongside 3 CDs.Now, in August 2009 it is time for the first official Poker Flat Poker Tournament at the SPIELBANK BERLIN. The tournament will be run as a so-called „No Limit Hold `Em Freeze Out“ tournament and is planned for 70 participants. The buy in will be 50 EUR.
All participants will get the same amount of chips and will play at several tables on the Pokerfloor. If you lose your last chip you‘re eliminated. The complete cash prizepool will be distributed between the top ten winners. The exact amount shared will be announced during the tournament.
1. - 10. place: Cash prizes. 11. - 25. place: A Poker Flat T-Shirt or a Limited Edition Poker Flat Box-Set. The choice is yours. 26. - 35. place: The new Steve Bug album „Collaboratory“
On top every participant will receive: free admission to the Player‘s Night at Weekend club + a free Poker Flat Pokerdeck + a free download voucher for 10 Poker Flat songs from 10 years courtesy of whatpeopleplay.com
Bounties: There‘re bounties set for the participating Poker Flat artists: If you eliminate one of them from the tournament you‘ll get an extra prize; all releases of this artist on Poker Flat, Dessous and Audiomatique (12inches and CDs).
