Marcin Czubala’s track titles are starting to closely mirror his career path. Like a swift gazelle Czubala bounces back and forth between mobilee records and Nick Curly´s 8bit recordings, leaving in his wake a trail of triumphant releases. ‘Zoo Communale’ springs Czubala back to mobilee after the success of his ‘Minskaya’ EP on 8bit, and jumping in the cage with him is none other than well renowned artist Hugo.
An impressive discography and busy touring schedule have made Hugo a reputable name in clubs around the globe. As a fan of his jazz educated, funk inspired sound Czubala approached Hugo to collaborate. The subsequent intertwining of these two musical animals produced ‘Zoo Communale’, its bouncy grooves and hypnotic loops tinged with a bit of funk. Animalistic stuff.
‘Zoo Communale’ is comprised of two tracks, A-side ‘Zoo Communale’ and B-side ‘No Tu No’, as well as a digital bonus track ‘Polita.’ Every track has its own unique twist, each proving perfect for dance floors world wide. Mobilee says welcome to the zoo, and enjoy!
