Maxim Kuznyecov became the "Best Upcoming DJ 2008" in Hungary. This russian guy could be mainly known for his previous successful mashups and reedits, that were played by Pete Tong, Dave Seaman, Ferry Corsten and other international top names. Although he's seriously into his own productions, remixes and tracks recently - this time he provides us a special fresh mashup-pack with an interesting "2010" mix of Bodyshine (Billy Hendrix), an edit of RogerS (Blade Soundtrack) or a quite chillin' mash of Paul Kalkbrenner and Telepopmusic.

The man behind "Syberia Sessions" clubnight and mix series...
From Moscow he moved to Hungary in his early childhood. Growing up on his parents' Kraftwerk, Queen and Modern Talking records made up his mind to prefer fat basslines, cool analogue sound and distorted effects - all mixed up with melodic themes and soul-catching vocals.
His previous projects reached quite great success at international "demoscene" festivals and conferences. As "Psyonic Labs" Maxim had a complete goa-trance album, some awards and animation-soundtrack requests, as "TowerX" he released downtempo, dnb and chill tunes, made soundtracks for animations and demo programs.
The great turning point was 2003' autumn, when one of Sasha's festival sets completely changed Maxim's mind, influences and ambitions. He turned into progressive, electro and techy house music, started to make his own tracks and bootlegs, organizing parties, making mixes and began to use his real name - Maxim Kuznyecov for his dj/producer productions.
One of his most popular works was a Placebo bootleg (Placebo - Every you every me) played by such big names as Meat Katie, Lisa Lashes or Flash Brothers in 2006.
Mainly Maxim has two sides:

• prog/tech/electro house - Syberia Sessions and mainly all his special mixes
• chill/beach/lounge house - Syberia Café and sometimes the "light" warmups
  

In 2006 he moved to the capital of Hungary - Budapest, started a new clubnight and worked tirelessly on his new home studio, remixes, own tracks and future plans.
In 2008 he played at different gigs across Hungary and other countries as Serbia, Montenegro or England with such rising stars of the music industry as Jay Lumen, Add2Basket, Snake Sedrick, Belocca, Muzzaik and Andro. In the second half of the year, even the biggest names started to play Maxim’s mashups and remixes - Ferry Corsten or Ernesto & Bastian also put the Greece2008 vocal version in their radioshows.
2009 begun with a smashing NewYear’s party in Serbia. In the mid of january Pete Tong played „Tomorrow Gas Face” mashup in his Essential Selection, while Nick Warren also started to roll this mash at his gigs. One month later Maxim Kuznyecov won the „Soundhead Bestof2008 - Best Upcoming DJ” cathegory at the annual voting of the most popular hungarian electonic-music portal - „Soundhead.hu”.
March was rich in happenings too, Maxim played with Dave Seaman, got his first official release at Beatport and Judge Jules started to feature „Playmaker’s Love in Traffic” mashup in his Radioshow at BBC Radio1. Meanwhile the russian dj became so popular that in the beginning of April at one night in 5 hours he played at two countries’ two top clubs (Serbia – TheCode / Hungary – Club Sensation).
In may with his friends he starts the hungarian clubtour of a brand new reality show „1honapszobafogsag.hu”, and get an invitation to the dream island - Ibiza. At Ibiza he managed to play at the islands two top clubs (Eden and Es Paradis), met and got acquainted with big names like David Guetta, Pete Tong or Erick Morillo.
Summer went on with other foreign bookings as well. In july Maxim played at one of North-Serbia’s biggest festivals (Summer3P) with names like Jody Wisternoff or Robert Babicz, while in august he got invitation to Slovakia’s beloved radio show (4Elements) and made a crazy party at the hottest new central club (Remixbar).
From september Maxim got 2 new monthy rezidencies – he became responsible for Coffeinn’s official before parties in Budapest and started to organize his Syberia Sessions clubnights again. Also in september he is the first dj from Hungary, testing Pioneer’s brand new player (CDJ2000) at the big premiere event in Antwerp. In october he got involved into a special promotion trip, playing at the worlds bigges food&drinks exhibition – Anuga EXPO 2009 at Pussy Energy Drink stage for a quite exclusive audience. In december as a new milestone - Maxim’s first official EP: „You Are The Light” is coming out on SoundTribe Rekords.
