The Mau5 has decided it was time to collaborate again with Chris Lake, for a new cut called 'I Said.' The results are in the audio form of a massive tech house monster, complete with plenty of peaks and valleys, booming bass and big room sounds. 'Michael Woods' provides the remix, which has become the first Essential New Tune for 2010 on Pete Tong's radio show. You know you want this!

DJ Hell's 'U Can Dance' is an interpretation of an unreleased Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music) song, but it's one that reflects a perfect melding of two distinct personalities, a record that sounds as if the voice and music were made for each other. On 'U Can Dance', Hell and Ferry have similarly pulled out all the stops for the remixes, gathering up work from the Grammy-nominated producer Carl Craig, DFA mainstay Tim Goldsworthy and pop electro superstars Simian Mobile Disco. It's absolutely awesome.

Hatiras pulls a few strings on this early acid house classic and includes an original remastered version for his Hatrax label. A pumpin' set of mixes from house to electro with; Hoxton Whores, DJ Bam Bam, The Fresh Guys and Hatiras himself. Add a fresh dose of classic acid house to your set with one of these hot new mixes!

Hot from his immensely popular 'Jungle Laps' track on John Digweed's Bedrock 11 LP, Marco Bailey is about to cause a major commotion with this stunning new 4-track EP. 'Watergate' is a diverse EP full of wonderful techno styles, including a classic nod to the big room looped disco vibes (Filter Bitch). It's refreshing to hear some proper big room, high octane techno music, and this release is a shining example of the magic in the energy.

'Blending With The Ether' is a collaborative effort between Anthony Pappa and two of Australia's biggest names in progressive music over the last decade, Phil K and Danny Bonnici. The track features a commanding Mandolin that stands firmly next to a simple bassline and techy percussion. Now with remixes from Nomad In The Dark and Andy Newland & Oscitone, 'Blending With The Ether' is looming large in club land with support from some of the world's most discerning disc selectors.

After dropping 'Killertone' the brotherhood who go by the name of Ernesto vs Bastian drop another contender for big room mayhem. 'Hailing From New York' has that unique fresh groove what makes that Ernesto vs. Bastian sound so loved by the many. Coming at 2 different versions the song is built around that big dreamy yet full on hands-in-the-air breakdown. Road tested by the boys themselves it's now time to unleash this beast.

Spotlight Features

DJ Chus, one half of the production team Chus & Ceballos, is one of the most in demand DJs in the world. He holds down several world wide residencies at the most exquisite clubs around the globe all while producing and remixing for labels like Defected and his own Stereo Productions. DJ Chus has championed what is called the "Iberican Sound". His latest release; 'TwentyTen EP' with Rob Mirage captures the future direction of the Iberican Sound, intriguing his friends and fans for what's to come.

What genre of music has Turbo Recordings not championed? We're unsure of that answer here at Beatport. Seemingly able to cover virtually all styles of music with zero effort is one of the typical characteristics from this label. Check out the latest, the second remix package of tracks from the massive techno act Zombie Nation. As with all Turbo releases, this remix package breaks the rules of what dance music is supposed to sound like, and yet guarantees a full dance floor when played.
