German DJ and label owner Tomcraft seems to have locked himself in the studio as of late. He has been releasing quite a few productions over the past few months, which unfortunately heavily varied in quality. Next month sees his new EP Naked On Clouds... let's see if he has redeemed his level of quality.

This three-tracker opens with the Club Mix of Naked On Clouds, a rough stomping electro house tune with a menacing bass-line and slamming percussion elements. As is the case with almost every Tomcraft release, this one sports a rather doomy vibe which will without any doubt be of big effect in the clubs. The breakdown features some nice reworked classical instruments, after which the tune climaxes into a seriously throbbing killer with loads of exciting effects. Excellent work.

The Dub Mix is a more straight-forward club tune which lacks the classical sounds, thereby pushing the bass-fueled climax to the max. What results is a no-nonsense banger with even more charisma than the Club mix. Last one up is Let It Bleed, an Alexander Kowalski-esque techno slammer with uptempo beats and intense synthesizers that really push the envelope. The sequence oozes with energy, while vicious bass-lines rumble across the groove. It's not something you would expect from Tomcraft when looking at his previous releases, but it sure as hell rocks the spot. Definitely worth spending your money on.

Naked On Clouds has become an amazing EP on which Tomcraft fully showcases his skills in creating destructive club bangers. The two mixes tracks feature nasty vibes and some seriously ass-whooping synths, while Let It Bleed really guarantees dance-floor destruction. One to look forward to.
