DJ Paulette presents her Facebook project about celebrities pets "Cupid's Reigning Cats & Dog's". Today you can know more about Dirty South's dogs Jelly & Cookie.

1. Are you a dog person, a cat cuddler or an animal lover? Which pets make prizes in your household?

Im a dog person and in fact I love animals in general. I have two dogs. Jelly, she’s Maltese crossed with Shitzhu, and Cookie, she is a pure Shiztzhu.

2. Did you chose your pet or did your pet choose you? If neither, why did you choose your pet? Where did you buy your pet and was it expensive?

My girlfriend got Jelly first as a present, then we got Cookie to keep Jelly company. We got them both in Australia where we live.

3. Does your pet understand you? How do you know this?

My dogs definitely know whats up!! Especially when im handing out treats. When my girlfriend is picking me up from the airport after a long tour, she brings the girls with her, and they know exactly whos coming home!! Jelly hangs out the car window and looks for me.

4. Does your pet follow your instructions or do you find that you have to dance to his or her tune?

Jelly is a little more disciplined, she listens a lot. Cookie is the cheeky one, we dance to her tune definitely.

5. Is there a bed, a room or an area in your house that’s designated for your pet or does your pet sleep in your room? Why?

The dogs sleep with us. The whole house is theirs. They hang in my studio also while im making music. I love my dogs A LOT, they can do as they like.

6 Have you ever missed your pet when you’re away?

ALL THE TIME

7 What is the first thing you do when you get back home after a long trip?

Hang out with my family and dogs

8 Have you ever bought your pet a present in a different country?

I ALWAYS buy them presents when I come back from a tour. I need to stop, they have too much.

9 What is your pet’s favourite food? Favourite toy? Favourite sleeping posture

My dogs get better food then me, my girlfriend cooks them meals. They are very spoiled, but we want them to be healthy. They like ALL food by the way.

A Do you scoop their poop?

Ive done it a few times, but my girlfriend does it mainly.

B Does your pet have a wardrobe or accessories, does he or she fit in a bag or is he or she just good to go whenever?

They are both always ready, we don’t dress them up, I don’t think dogs like to be dressed up. We do have winter jumpers for them when they go for walks as they groomed and it can get quite cold on the beach in winter.

10 How does your pet occupy itself if you are busy in the studio or working? Does your pet tell you when he or she needs to go out? What is the signal?

As I said, they hang out with me in the studio or just lay around the apartment if im busy. When they need to go to toilet on the balcony “toilet setup”, they both give us signals. Jelly makes a little squeel noise, and Cookie doesn’t make a noise at all, she just stands in front of the balcony door until we notice her.

11 Is there a spot in your house / apt that belongs to your pet? Where is it?

Not really, the whole apartment is theirs to roam around and be free.

12 How can you tell if your pet doesn’t like somebody? What do you say when you can see those signs?

My dogs love humans. Its other dogs that they don’t like. Normally they bark together at the other dogs even if the other dogs are bigger.

13 If you had to move house would you take your pet with you?

OF COURSE!!!

14 Do you have a picture of your pet in your wallet, on your phone, on your computer, on your desk or on your bedside table?

I have pictures of them every where, phone, laptop etc…. I get at least 2 pictures of them sent to me everyday so I can keep up when im touring.

15 How would you describe your pet’s personality?

Jelly is sensitive and polite, Cookie is just plain cheeky and cute. They are both loveable in their own way. People fall in love with them instantly. They compliment each other perfectly.

16 Has your pet ever been sick? How did you feel?

Yes they have, and I don’t like it.

17 Has your pet changed your life in any way? Is your pet a member of your family?

My dogs are part of my family now. They have definitely changed my life for better.
