This year, as part of a minor reshuffle at the hallowed finca, Defected replace the veterans at Def Mix in what can only be described as a major step up from 2008's Tuesday slot, taking the traditionally busiest night at Pacha and ensuring the house music status quo remains. Not only do Defected regulars like Junior Jack, Kid Crème, The Shapeshifters, ATFC and of course, boss man Simon Dunmore return but Master at Work Kenny Dope slots in with 2 dates, Def Mix boys David Morales and Frankie Knuckles have 4 and 2 gigs respectively and there are also PA performances from Julie McKnight, Steve Edwards and Ultra Nate. Saturdays at Pacha are about as iconic as clubbing nights go and Defected is a safe bet to ensure the disco principles of funky, good times music with a fair smattering of glitterball glam will be upheld in time-honoured tradition. Also, to coincide with the opening event, 'Defected In The House Ibiza 09' mixed by Copyright will be available from 1st June 2009.  30th May 6th June 13th June 20th June 27th June 4th July 11th July 18th July 25th July 1st August 8th August 15th August 22nd August 29th August 5th September 12th September 19th September 26th September  |
