Riding the wave of success from the smash remixes of Soul Central’s ‘Strings of Life’ and Chez Damier’s ‘Can You Feel It’, not to mention their previous hit ‘Beat Me Back’, Italian production and DJ duo Supernova deliver their long overdue debut EP for Defected. Lead track ‘Cassandra’ is trademark Supernova; a skippy top end, tight drums and a rolling bass that you can’t help but groove to. Add into the mix an infectious piano loop and almost Marvin Gaye sounding vocal hook and you have on your hands another sure fire house hit. On the flip ‘Esta De Mas’ has a latin tinged dancefloor groove and a horn lead that will no doubt make any underground basement club feel like open air Ibiza beach party in no time.
