DOWNLOAD HERENew release from Prok & Fitch out today on Axwell's Axtone Records, including remix from Axwell vs Daddy's Groove. Having achieved the 2nd biggest seller on Beatport in 2009 with the irrepressible ‘Leave The World Behind’, Axtone Records start they new decade as they mean to go on unleashing yet another dancefloor classic, this time from Brighton duo Prok & Fitch alongside Nanchang Nancy. Prok & Fitch’s profile has been increasing at a rapid rate over recent years with releases on Toolroom, CR2, Stealth and on their own Floorplay Music with Beatport championing them as Rising Stars for 2010. Vocalist Nanchang Nancy evokes classic Moby overtones here delivering a vocal in her trademark gospel style and a song that will endure for many years to come alongside other seminal Axtone releases. On remix duty, Italian production outfit Daddy’s Groove follow up their breakthrough remix of ‘Leave The World Behind’ with a piano laden production that’s set to raise their profile once again. Axwell has delivered his own version of the Daddy’s Groove remix which takes the Original and turns it into a peak time, big room anthem that has already become a mainstay in the Swedish House Mafia’s sets. Tipped by the national media as ‘One To Watch’ in 2009, Prok & Fitch have more than proved the journalists’ predictions right. The hottest DJ/producer pairing in house music have chalked up an impressive array of achievements in the past twelve months, including rocking the main room at Amnesia in Ibiza, touring Brazil and Australia and releasing both critically acclaimed and dancefloor-approved tracks.
Now focussing on their original productions, Ben Prok and James Fitch’s works have been signed to some of the biggest names in the business: Axwell’s Axtone, Toolroom Records, CR2, Stealth and more. With serious and diverse support from the likes of Steve Angello, Paul Van Dyk and Carl Cox, there’s few clubs worldwide which haven’t witnessed the Prok & Fitch reaction. ![]() |
