Ministry of Sound Teams Up With Cocoon

Saturday 10th April sees the launch of Ministry of Sound Tours European flagship event at Cocoon Club, Frankfurt. One of the biggest collaborations in dance music to have happened in years, the two influential forces in the electronic genre join together for 2010 to bring you four consecutive parties over the year.  Ministry of Sound tours has seen a successful run over the last few years and with over 700 events per annum, they currently powerhouse some of the biggest events in the world. Now working closely alongside Cocoon, the two most famous clubs on the globe join arm in arm to lay down the best in quality deep house and techno.
Driven by the age of Acid house, progressive DJ James Zabiela has dabbled within the electronic music genre finding his stance in the slightly deeper and harder side of techno.  Having recently developed his new Renaissance CD, James as a DJ/Producer is in popular demand as ever. A regular amongst the industry’s biggest names, Zabiela epically makes a stop at Cocoon for the launch of this momentous union of brands. Joining him is one of the most influential artists to this day, Darren Emerson, having made his mark on the scene back in the early nineties with his band alias Underworld he is notoriously known for selling out large capacity arenas. Since going solo, in 2000 he has earned himself a wealth of success including working with Mark Knight, Sasha, Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy.  An established heavyweight within the tech house scene, Emerson plans his set at Cocoon to rip up the dancefloor clearly showing his reign at the forefront of the scene. Chris Lake is one of the most recognised artists in current times, having broken on the scene back in 2005 with his chart success he has gone from rags to riches producing some of the best house music the last decade has seen. His distinct forward thinking and cutting edge sound has seen him vary in style with his deep sets proving popular all over the world. Rounding off the main room action, Back to Basics legend Ralph Lawson spins predominantly driving beats, concluding this night of British talent.
Floor Two acknowledges a dose of Global Underground talent from residents Anil Chawla & Dale Anderson. Taking over to offer some of their dissimilar sounds, the pair that make up two parts of the Dat SoundSystem collective, induce and deliver staggered tech house and driven house. Credited as UK home-grown talent that have rectified dance music, with their innovative productions they size up any crowd twisting through the stages of a music masterclass.
This is a rebirth; this is evidence of the return of electronic music on a global scale. Cocoon and Ministry of Sound are both firm believers in the progression of house, and this, in short, is going to be one hell of a night!
