Starting the year in fine style, Toolroom wonder kid Matt Samuels drops a three track EP of epic proportions, bursting with melodic grooves and hands up crescendos ‘The End EP’ shows just why Matt is one of our finest future stars.

Kicking things off in reverse is ‘The End’! A sublime slice of uplifting progressive house oozing edginess with its techy beats and shuffling percussion. Building from the start with moody chords and a killer riff ‘The End’ kicks into life with a driving groove of tight beats and tasty bass before reaching an epic breakdown that will have the most deluded of clubbers back on the dancefloor!
‘One Moment’ does exactly what it says on the tin! A perfectly polished feel good track that will create ‘One Moment’ on the dancefloor with its melodic yet anthemic breakdown, something to drop when the atmosphere is at its peak, just right for that special last tune of the night when the club becomes one.
Rounding off the EP ‘After Thought’ takes things a little deeper but still retaining the driving and uplifting sound that Matt has crafted himself over the years. A warm and rumbling bassline drives the track with clean & crisp drums providing the path that leads to one of Matt’s trademark breakdowns, enter the big lead that encapsulates your senses for a real lost in music moment, altogether this three track is one of Matt’s finest and just shows why Mark Knight tipped him as one to watch this year!
