Exclusive Featured ReleasesThe original version of 'Loneliness' went straight to number one in the UK sales charts and developed into one of the biggest club records ever in 2002. Now in 2010, Kosmo Records has released a new remix package of this all time club classic. The first bundle contains four mixes, contributed by Lissat & Voltaxx, Adam K & Soha, Mario da Ragnio and Niels van Gogh. No doubt - this release is going to hit Miami WMC like a hurricane. Keeping its ears to the street, Cr2 drops the third installment in the underground series. Volume 3 features tracks from a collection of producers at the pinnacle of the underground movement. Hauswerks, Tapesh, Anil Chawla, M.in, David Keno and Ramiro Lopez all bring the noise for this quality collection of house music. Via unprecedented demand, Meck and Dino now bring you the track that caused such a stir with a host of top notch remixes from man of the moment Michael Woods, Dutch master Rene Amesz & acclaimed tech / trance producer Bart Claessen. There is a mix to suit everyone's tastes and 'Feels Like A Prayer' will no doubt be featuring heavily at this year's Miami WMC 2010. The rising star from Belgium, Ramon Tapia, has now revealed 'Sunka Sanka Pt. 3', which is the final EP to come out before his debut album, slated for later this year. To hold you over until then, this release is a perfect blend of forward thinking tech house aesthetics, house music funk, and absolute peak hour sensibilities. If the two brand new original tracks aren't enough, the EP comes complete with hot remixes from Santos & Marc Miroir as well. Perfect DJ tools for your weekend set. The classic techno record which merged Donna Summer's disco styling together with an injection of "balls to the walls" techno grooves returns with an unbelievable 2010 upgrade made with your peak time moment in mind. Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick and Joseph Capriati each take their turn adding their own slice of high tech power to the original version, whilst respectfully retaining the arpeggiated grooves and the crowd pleasing 'believe' vocals which originally made this record such a smash hit. There's just something satisfying about Definitive Recordings. It's remained a long lasting label that's been able to adapt and change over the years to stay relevant to the biggest audiences, and break new artists along the way. The latest release comes from relative newcomer Ben LB, with his cheeky named 'Lala Li Lala' which should cement his name into the list of new producers to take seriously. Huge tech house monsters for the original mix, and guaranteed awesome remixes from Alex Kenji and the always reliable Olivier Giacomotto. Spotlight FeaturesRoger Sanchez aka the "S-Man" shares his dance floor bombs from some of his favorite labels and artists in his latest 'February Weapons Chart'. Roger's new chart is a mix of bangers from house to electro and progressive that works his global audience. Big room drama from; Afrojack, Avicci, Jason Chance, Roy Rox & Daniel Bovie and Dennis Ferrer. He also features a few hot new tracks on his Stealth label that have been tested and featured in his Release Yourself Radio Show. Germany had Kraftwerk, and France had Jean Michel Jarre, the enigmatic electronic music composer who experimented with synthesizers, machines, and ambient sounds all the way back in the late '60s and early 1970s. Jarre's breakthrough came in 1976 with the release of his solo album Oxygène, which to date has sold over 12 million copies, making it the best selling French album of all time. His back catalogue is finally available digitally, and we're delighted to see it on Beatport. |
