Since their conception, Onephatdeeva and Onephatdeepa were always intended to release underground tunes from new and upcoming artists. Set up in 2003 the labels have consistently achieved excellent sales and have been strongly supported by the music press, reviewers and most importantly the record buying public. Highlights over the years include ATFC ‘Erotik’, Marshall Jefferson & Serge ‘69%’, ATFC & Smokin Jo ‘Getinwhereyafitin’, Warren Clarke ‘Movin Out’, ATFC feat Inaya Day ‘Mine’, ATFC & Seamus Haji ‘Freaky and Patrick L ‘Things I wanna do’ Shapeshifters mixes, ATFc feat Inaya Day ‘Reach Out to me’, ATFC ‘Spread Love’ and Allister Whitehead & Michele Chiavarin ‘Love me More’. In 2006, ATFC, the man behind the label, introduced the Producers Pack. This limited producers pack included the usual 12” and a bonus CD. The bonus CD contained exclusive and additional mixes and all the respective musical parts and samples giving budding producers the opportunity to remix their favourite Onephatdeeva releases, some of which were subsequently released on Onephatdeepa. Concentrating on download only means the label can stay true to it’s roots and continue to thrive – it allows the label to release tunes that otherwise won’t be heard. Alongside the releases will be extra mixes and all the musical parts that form the producer’s pack. Keep checking our space for details of forthcoming releases or subscribe to the blog. Thanks, Onephatdeeva! |
