Following the presentation of this years’ theme „Wicked Wonderland“, Sensation is now ready to announce the line-up for the New Year’s Eve edition in Dusseldorf.

This year the Sensation creative team presents a new music concept that incorporates the DJs into all aspects of the show. Contrary to previous years, the Wicked Wonderland show has a fixed international team of DJ’s, whom tour around the world with Sensation. In each country an additional artist strengthens the team, and in Germany this DJ is a definite turntable genius.

„Next to a great show, we also want to offer our visitors the best music. The DJs should be perfectly tuned in to each other and the show“, says Sensation founder Duncan Stutterheim as one of the reasons for the new musical concept. „All DJs within the team have shown their Sensation-spirit and have ability to play to the Sensation crowd in the best possible way“.

Important member of the DJ-team who is present in Germany is Fedde le Grand. He is appreciated by all house-lovers for his mega hit „Put Your Hands Up For Detroit“ and his regular show appearance at 1LIVE. But there is more...a lot more! He successfully runs his own Flamingo imprint and his own Flamingo Nights concept proved to be a definite favourite amongst many a clubber. This man is leaving his mark at each and every venue and festival he headlines, so you can be rest assured he will do the exact same thing this NYE: dropping that groove pure FLG style!

Next to enter the DJ booth is Sander van Doorn, who will make sure it will be an unforgettable start of the New Year. Internationally acclaimed and respected, Sander van Doorn is loved around the world for his signature sound and top notch DJ sets. His extraordinary talent was recently rewarded as he snatched up the award for „Best Breakthrough DJ“ at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami. This New Years Eve Sander guides you through the first hours of 2010.

Taking over the wheels is Laidback Luke. After an immense 2008 with hits such as Break The House Down and the all-star collab that resulted in the monstrous Show Be Love, he upped the ante even further this year. His stratospheric success truly befits his world-beating talents as he reached new levels of hotness in 2009 thus far. Armed with fresh music as weaponry and an overload of positive energy, Luke is ready to bring out the best in you as you dance your way into the first hours of 2010.

Mr. White made his debut at Sensation Amsterdam, where he rocked the crowd with the finest Minimal-House sounds around. In Dusseldorf he is also present and he is on a mission! Get ready for a journey throughout the deeper sounds of electronic music, always tickling the imagination and keeping a steady a flow during the set.

Resident Erick E will take care of the kick off of this special New Years Eve edition. Each and every time he takes center stage at Sensation, he simply delivers the goods. So rest assured, with Erick E at the helm you are sure to get your fresh slice of groovy house music.

Local hero and Sensation favourite Tocadisco will take us into the next morning with his big room beats and amazing presence behind the so called wheels of steel. This guy knows how to suck that last bit of energy out of anyone, so a better finish to the night is impossible to find.

Especially for the German New Years Eve edition, the event has an additional DJ compared to previous instalments of Sensation Wicked Wonderland. An extra DJ, more music, extended dancing; let’s make it a NYE to never forget!

In 2008 30,000 visitors from 44 countries celebrated their New Years Eve dancing the night away at Sensation, in Germany’s fashion capital Düsseldorf.
Last year’s show, the “Ocean of White”, was voted „Best New Style Event“ 2008 by the public and received a Live Entertainment Award - Germany’s most prestigious entertainment prize.
Past July the new show with the theme “Wicked Wonderland” premiered in Amsterdam. Two consecutive nights brought together almost 80,000 ecstatic visitors. 
This December the German ESPRIT arena will be turned into a “Wicked Wonderland” and Sensation will offer the ultimate way to spend New Years Eve partying together with friends.
