The Canadian electronic music producer and artist Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman) is finally back in Sweden, Stockholm on the 12th of May. Performing an exclusive set at one of Stockholm's most famous venues, Berns Salonger.

Deadmau5 is a true PC expert and worked for three years ago as web developer. Ever since then he has earned his skills for being known as a musical phenomenon while releasing tracks such as "Faxing Berlin", which had a huge impact on the electronic music scene around the whole globe. “It was quite a buzz to know that I’d influenced the course of dance music,” says Joel with a smile.

He has also worked with world famous artists like Christina Aguilera, remixing her track "Hurt" with Deadmau5 long-term collaborator Steve Duda. These guys also releases tracks under the artist name B.S.O.D (‘blue screen of death’). Approximately 120.000 CD´s has been sold with his track "I Remember" created together with Kaskade. This track is also featured in his artist album "For Lack Of A Better Name". Deadmau5 has some serious technical skills while playing his live performance, which make each and every set individual and unique. His sets often consists of his own tracks and he refuses to be called a DJ since he is not using any CD´s.

Joel is very successful in his perception management of the brand Deadmau5, where there for example has been a iPhone app called "Touch Mix" created, which allows you to mix tracks on your mobile. He´s also known for having some serious stage properties. For the event in Stockholm he will bring three trucks loaded with: a BIG speaker system, LED screens, laser shows, special lights and more, just to make sure the crowed will get the maximum return of there investment.

While being the biggest selling artist on Beatport in 2009 he has really set the standard and is now considered as being a a-list electronic music guru. While traveling around the whole globe playing for more than 20.000 people.

Deadmau5 has proved his point, the mau5 his here to stay!
