Feed Me - Little Cat Steps [mau5trap]

Feed Me is back and the little sharp-teethed monster is ready to do some damage.  Returning to mau5trap for the first time since last year’s acclaimed ‘Escape From Electric Mountain’ EP, he is armed with ‘Little Cat Steps’, a high-octane and powerful offering filled with all the twists and turns that make his productions so invigorating.
Emerging from the ether on a bed of warm piano chords and drifting arpeggios the track spirals slowly upwards, picking up a wave of distorted low end frequencies on its trajectory as Feed Me crafts a deep, evocative intro. As the winding synths dissipate back into thin air, he picks his moment to unleash the monster within, firing off a driving 4×4 beat and grinding bass lick while looping synths upwards to keep the energy at fever pitch. Taking things back down, Feed Me takes a u-turn in the latter part of the track as he dives into an epic collision of crashing half-time drums and soaring synths that provide a stunning ending to his latest concoction.
Debuting on deadmau5’s internationally revered mau5trap label back in 2008, Feed Me didn’t so much step on to the scene as stomp, and his unique brand of hard hitting, bass heavy electronica with a grin quickly caught the imagination of listeners worldwide. Honing his sound and style with a succession of acclaimed EPs, remixes and production credits that have showcased the versatility of his productions, the last couple of years have seen him bringing his high energy sound to ever increasing crowds of fans. With his state of the art live show ready to be unveiled, Feed Me is upping the stakes.
