Following his performance with the Foo Fighters at the Grammy's, deadmau5 continues his dalliances with the rock world by enlisting the vocal talents of Gerard Way on his new single. 'Professional Griefers' sits on the tougher end of deadmau5's productions, kicking off with stomping beats and heavily distorted guitar stabs, building tension with dischordant synth strikes towards the chorus.

The “Professional Griefers” video—which also features vocalist Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance—directed by Paul Boyd and Jeff Ranasinghe and produced by Dave Stewart’s Weapons of Mass Entertainment with Method Studios as the visual effects company. In it, deadmau5 and Gerard Way engage in a futuristic Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) bout, where both parties battle it out in a post apocalyptic octagon with massive CGI mau5 robots.

Since the end of his grueling North American tour, deadmau5 has been locked in his recently overhauled studio and gone on a creative spree to finish the new album which is due out later this year.
