Calvin Harris - Feel So Close (incl. Benny Benassi, Nero Remixes) [Sony Music]

Celebrated electronic music producer/DJ/singer-songwriter CALVIN HARRIS has announced details for the release of his new single “Feel So Close” out now via Ultra Music. The single follows the success of the radio and chart smash “Bounce” featuring Kelis released earlier this year. Both tracks will be featured on CALVIN’s upcoming artist album expected for early 2012.
While “Bounce” featured vocals from Kelis, “Feel So Close” spotlights vocals by CALVIN himself. The single is indie meets dance while having the usual catchy hit factor of a CALVIN HARRIS single with an anthemic euphoria in its feel-good chorus and echoing guitars and drums. Already in the U.S., the track is charting at #2 on iTunes Store’s Top 10 Dance Albums chart and is #1 in the U.K. on the Overall Album chart.

The video, shot beautifully by Vincent Haycock who also lensed the clip for “Bounce,” is a rollercoaster of happy emotions. The video, which has already garnered over 3 million views, can be viewed here:

Remixes come courtesy of Nero, Benny Benassi and Dillon Francis and will be released via Ultra Music as part of the “Feels So Close” single package.
This summer found CALVIN touring the world with his live presentation that has evolved into a one–man electronic performance encompassing both DJ set and on-the-spot production.  This September, he returns to North America for appearances at Electric Zoo in NYC, clubs in Southern California, Florida, and Calgary, Canada as well as two dates of his residency at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas. Afterwards he’ll embark on a 56-date European tour with pop superstar Rihanna; it kicks off in Belfast on September 28 and includes 10 nights at London’s O2 Arena.CALVIN HARRIS has had a crazy few years with seven Top 10 singles, including two #1 singles with “I’m Not Alone” and “Dance Wiv Me” (with Dizzee Rascal) and over 1.5 million tracks and 500,000 albums sold in the U.K. News on CALVIN’s new artist album will be announced soon.
