“The concept of the show is that the audience become part of the lighting effect,” Charlie Fantazia told. “Fantazia have been putting on some of the largest raves in the UK over the last four years and have received little media attention. It’s about time ravers got recognition,” he said. “We know that the mainstream sneers behind our backs about the rave scene, they think they are so cool and that rave is down-market. In the UK they have missed out on the fact that a new generation has come through. The media need to move with the times. These are the same people who thought Nu Rave was going to be big. Nu Rave? What did that have to do with rave?”

“We will be publishing the criteria in the weeks before the event though I can confirm that glowsticks alone won’t qualify,” he said. “I envisage the minimum being an item of clothing or a hat. A lot of people attending our events already wear this style of gear, so the key for us is to encourage the rest.”
