The catalogue of on-line dance music store Juno has reached a whopping one million tracks, making it the largest resource for dance music on the internet. And to celebrate, they're giving away... no less than one million downloads! Over the next two months, promotion codes will be given away in dance music magazines DJ and iDJ, at club nights and festivals, and via the mailing lists of leading dance labels including Deadmau5, K7, Southern Fried, Armada, Skint, CR2, Poker Flat and Soma. Those with a coupon will be able to download GBP 5 of any track available in the on-line store. Juno was launched in early 2006 and, as you probably already know, covers pretty much the entire spectrum in electronic music plus some rock too. Today, over 20,000 labels are signed up to the database which makes it the UK's fastest growing download portal. Recent new label catalogues on Juno include legendary techno labels Minus and Plus 8, plus Yoshitoshi, Platzhirsch Schallplatten and Fatboy Slim's Skint label, whose full catalogue has never been fully released digitally and the tracks are were digitally re-mastered for Juno. The near future will see Roger Sanchez' Stealth imprint being added as well. Related Content: |
