MH041 Caine N Anians - Futterwacken EP // OUT NOW!!

The next release from the independent and underground heroes at Mad Hatter Recordings comes from the label boss Carl Anians and production partner Phil Caine, and is only the 2nd ever Caine N Anians EP on the label.

It's no doubt the dance floor destroying tech tracks like 'Absolem' which made Carl Cox tip this label as 'one to watch' recently, and you can perfectly imagine him dropping this into one of his own sets with ease.

Carving out a tech tunnel and sprinkling it with echoing percussion, this track has a shiny, metallic glint to it as flows along. It's the sort of big tune which gets hands in the air at a summer festival, or has woops willing out in darkened little clubs, such is its inherent energy.

'Futterwacken' meanwhile carrys on in the same main room, tribal style with tribal chants adding texture to the pinpoint drums and percussion of the rest of the track.

The final offering to mark a solid EP for Mad Hatter is 'Bandersnatch' - a more rigid affair with a tracky feel aimed squarely at the dancefloor and as it grows, breaks then pushes on, energy levels soar as do you.
