Vinyl emulation allows the user to physically manipulate the playback of digital audio files on a computer using the turntables as an interface, thus preserving the hands-on feel of deejaying with vinyl while allowing playback of audio recordings not available in phonograph form. This allows DJs to scratch, beatmatch, and perform other turntablism that would be impossible with a conventional keyboard-and-mouse computer interface.

Hope you find this reply useful,

Cool  I recently (within last month) put together my first almost album of remixed tracks using ''ZULU''  and wave pad programs.  Which have recently expired, I'm trying to figure out the best program or device to upgrade to that is more user friendly and more hands on with less BS internet software interferance.  I  joined this site to find out how to convert my recorded tracks from windows media player on my desktop to the net to be shared and get real feedback towards improvement Please, any info / suggestions will be highly appricated  Wink
